The Moorpark Chamber of Commerce has been connecting business owners to one another since 1915. We want to help the community prosper as much as possible, and thankfully, the members of our community want that much as we do.
Moorpark is a great city for families, businesses, and for singles. Moorpark is home to one of the most renowned community colleges in all of the United States – that being Moorpark Community College. Over the past three decades, the number of courses, degrees, and students attending Moorpark College has grown exponentially. Moorpark College is also home to one of the highest rated exotic animal programs in the world – that being EATM. EATM sees a number of bright students come through its program every year, and it also runs a zoo that is open to the public (the zoo has monkeys, a lion, and various other exotic animals). Additionally, the City of Moorpark is within a five-minute drive of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is a one-of-a-kind museum, and it even houses the Air Force One Pavilion – which is the same Air Force One that Ronald Reagan used while he was president.
Moorpark has a positive and pro-business environment, but what the City rests its laurels on is the fact that it’s one of the safest cities in the country. When measured out and compared to other cities with similar population sizes, Moorpark is one of the safest cities in America. The City government and the local police force have worked hard to keep Moorpark as safe as it is.
